When you undertake Clinical Exercise and Pilates program led by qualified health professionals, such as Physiotherapists, you can be sure that the programs are safe and effective. They have undertaken formal training in additional to their professional qualifications.

Your Pilates Physio program will have a focus on rehabilitative and preventative exercises based on your detailed physiotherapy assessment. These prescriptive exercises target your problem areas to ensure more optimal results and minimise the risk of any injury.

In your Clinical Exercise program, you will be using a variety of specialised Pilates equipment including reformers and mat-based exercises. These are chosen depending on your needs and progressed appropriately at your own pace.

Should I start with Clinical Exercise OR Pilates program at Livewell?

Your physiotherapist will recommend the most effective option for your body.

If you currently have no symptoms or limitations to movements, going straight to Pilates program with a qualified Pilates Instructor is safe for you.

If you are currently recovering from an injury, rehabilitating post-surgery, experiencing pain or any other symptoms, it is strongly recommended that you start with an Initial Assessment with a Physiotherapist and proceed with Clinical Exercise program.
